Viking 64-739 Build Update

Viking 64-739 Build Update

By Kimberly Smith   July 2, 2024

The 64 Viking Convertible has been another winner for the Viking Yacht Company. Having built over thirty hulls in approximately three years, this model has been wildly popular for those looking for the perfect owner-operator platform or for a large crew on the tournament trail.

HMY’s slotted stock 64 convertible, hull #39, will be another excellent example of the 64 convertibles but will have one significant feature that we are all excited about, and that is the molded-in staircase. Increasingly owners have been looking for this unique option as another creature comfort that replaces the standard cockpit ladder with an actual staircase that runs from the mezzanine to the flybridge. The staircase option consists of the fiberglass molded staircase, teak tread steps with bullnose edges, and strip lighting underneath each step for additional safety. Viking has built a couple of 64 convertibles with this option, but hull #39 is being built to be the ultimate battlewagon with many of the mechanical and fishing options one would expect.

This vessel will have a Snow-White Gelcoat Hull Color with a Viking dark blue bottom and will be built as an open bridge hardtop version. However, as the building remains in its early stages, HMY would be honored to assist the buyer with their décor package and color schemes, along with some options they seek to have in their dream vessel.
