Steve Moynihan entered the marine industry at the age of 19 during the 1975 Miami Boat Show, where he held a position at a yacht multiple listing firm. His work at the MLS firm opened doors for him into the yacht brokerage industry. In 1977, when the license law required applicants to be 21 years old, Steve began a career in yacht sales.

Within two short years, Steve co-founded HMY Yacht Sales. Today, as the sole owner of HMY Yachts, Steve oversees the operations of 14 sales offices, four service locations, and a team of 90+ dedicated sales, support, and service people.

Steve lives in Jupiter, Florida with his wife Faith. He has four adult daughters who live nearby, as well as a bevy of grandchildren who keep the whole family active!
